INKUNZISE MATHOLENI YOUTH IN BUSINESS

The Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environment Affairs together with Ithala Development Finance Corporation(IDFC) hosted a two day “Inkunzisematholeni Youth in Business” Programme at Phongolo, Sithambi Hall.

This programme is aimed at encouraging the youth of KwaZulu-Natal to take the reins and tackle the concept of self-employment, instead of simply attempting to become a part of formal employment.

Day 1 : The business development component offered participants with business information and coaching, as well as business plan training and pitching strategies for funding.

Day 2 was a Pitch for Funding Session in which entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas and explain why they should be awarded R100,000
