The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA) together with National Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment (DFFE) visited Clenerville Public Primary School in Clermont to commemorate National Arbor Month.
The main purpose of this day is to celebrate South Africa's trees as well as to raise awareness about the importance of trees and planting trees. As part of the commemoration learners demonstrated by means of environmental games that address significance of reducing environmental issues like climate change and forest fires.
