The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), in partnership with the KwaDukuza Municipality, is hosting the Youth in Business Seminar today at the KwaDukuza Auditorium.

The seminar is bringing together young entrepreneurs, industry specialists, and local stakeholders to strengthen youth involvement in the local economy. The programme is focusing on key business development areas, including entrepreneurship skills, access to funding, digital trends , financial and business management.

This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by EDTEA and the Municipality to support youth enterprise development, create economic opportunities, and address youth unemployment. Both partners continue to champion programmes that empower young people to participate meaningfully in the regional economy.
