In commemoration of Youth Month, the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs - through its Youth Economic Empowerment Unit, is hosting the Youth in Business and Compliance Expo at kwaMbonambi Town Hall, within the King Cetshwayo District.

The event, which is held today (12 June 2025), forms part of the build-up activities scheduled to take place across the district ahead of the Provincial Youth Day celebration scheduled to take place at the University of Zululand on 16th June 2025.

Today's programme is designed to empower young entrepreneurs by providing them with information, connecting them to markets and unlocking opportunities for business growth. It also aims to identify new platforms that can help young business owners gain visibility and meaningful access to economic opportunities.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government is committed to championing initiatives that uplift and support youth development across the province.
