The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, through Youth Empowerment, Small Business Development and Cooperatives is hosting community outreach workshop today, 22 October 2024 at Enanda Machobeni tribal hall.

The workshop is a follow-up intervention to the Operation Sukuma Sakhe that was held at the beginning of 2024. This is the response to the community outcry that there is high youth unemployment rate in the area, this intervention is aimed at disseminating the information on business formation and other opportunities that EDTEA and other stakeholders offers as support to youth and small businesses.

The session wouldn't be successful without the strategic partnership and collaboration with our key stakeholders which are SEDA, the Department of Labour, Harambee, NYDA.
