Today, 07 April 2026, the MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Rev. Musa Zondi, together with the Head of Department, Dr. Nkosenye Zulu, undertook an oversight and stakeholder engagement visit to Beier Group within the eThekwini Metro.

The visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and gaining deeper insight into the company’s contribution to KwaZulu-Natal’s industrial landscape.

The Beier Group is a forward-looking innovator and manufacturer operating at the forefront of the technical textiles and personal protective equipment industries. Its diverse portfolio includes environmental filtration products, technical and industrial textiles, medical devices and advanced wound care solutions, PVC and PU coated materials, as well as personal protective equipment and occupational health and safety services.

The delegation was given a guided tour of the BBF Safety plant, providing an in-depth view of the company’s operations. The visit underscored Beier Group’s unwavering commitment to quality manufacturing, continuous innovation, and meaningful job creation within the sector.
