Today, the MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Rev. Musa Zondi, attended the 2026 Youth Parliament Programme held at Nkanini Hall in uMthwalume, Umzumbe Local Municipality, under the theme “Reset@50: The Future Calls.”

The Youth Parliament provides a platform for meaningful engagement between young people and government on issues relating to youth development, employment, skills development, entrepreneurship and service delivery. As South Africa marks 50 years since the Soweto Uprising, the programme continues to empower young people to shape the future and contribute to building a more inclusive and prosperous society.
