Today, 10th October 2024. Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs is supporting Izinduna by educating them about environmental issues at iNanda, Qadi Traditional Council.

The main purpose of this workshop is to educate and empower traditional authority on sustainable natural reource management in the development of the area. The workshop also aims to give the traditional council a holistic approach to integrated environmental management as a tool to advising their respective communities in matters of continued growth and development.

Presentations included climate change,sand mining,water use license,environmental impact assessment and forestry and biodiversity and invasive alien species.
