Fought on January 22, 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War, the Battle of Isandlwana stands as an important moment in history, remembered as one of the most significant defeats of the British Army during the Victorian era. This commemoration not only honors the bravery of those who fought but also provides a platform for reflection on the battle's enduring legacy.

As part of the events, the Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs is showcasing an exhibition, contributing to the celebration and acknowledgment of this monumental chapter in history.
