Operation Sukuma Sakhe Launch On the 26th October 2022, the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs was deployed at Fordeville ward 10 under Nkosi Langalibalele LM. Accompanied by Mr ZN Dlamini, acting HOD champion from Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and other officials from all KZN Government Departments for Operation Sukuma Sakhe (OSS). The program started with a ground breaking dialogue between the officials and the community. This is where members of the community got a chance to voice out all issues and concerned pertaining to developmental needs that are to be addressed by the government. Mr SG Ngubane (DDG at premiers office) guaranteed the community that every issue raised will be tabled accordingly before the KZN provincial government and that feedback will be given in due time.
