KWAZULU-NATAL CABINET VISIT UMZINYATHI DISTRICT AS PART OF PREMIER IMBIZO

KwaZulu-Natal Executive Council today visited the Umsinga Local Municipality under the UMzinyathi District as part of the Premier’s Imbizo.

This enormous engagement saw attendees from across all corners of UMzinyathi where the Premier and her entourage started with a visit to the Ngobese Family to hand over groceries, a vegetable garden and furniture to the family. The visit was preceded by the official opening of the R33 route which was handover by MEC for Transport, Community Safety & Liaison, Sipho Hlomuka to the KZN Premier.

About 20 Informal Traders in Umsinga today received gazebos as a short-term measure to help with driving the rural and township economy. These were handed over by MEC Siboniso Duma to the Premier to hand over to the beneficiaries.
