FINANCIAL LITERACY AND EDUCATION

The Business Regulations unit under the Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs is hosting an informal economy program in Endumeni Local Municipality and Nquthu Local Municipality. This is a two-day program, from May 15 to 16, 2023.The main objective of the program (Financial Literacy and Education) is to provide and equip formal and informal traders with the knowledge and skills that are required to make informed financial decisions. Informal traders are also motivated to grow from being informal and become formal businesses as SMMs or cooperatives.
