AMAJUBA TOURISM & HOSPITALITY REJUVENATION SEMINAR & BUSINESS EXPO.

The Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs was part of the Amajuba Tourism and Hospitality Rejuvenation Seminar and Business Expo held at Newcastle Scrapyard Lounge.

The seminar theme was, How Technology can Support the Recovery of the Tourism & Hospitality Sector. The seminar was led by Mr. Sam Tsima the CEO and Executive Coach at COMETS Go International (Pty) Ltd, together with Mr. Sibonelo Nzimande Chief Director for Tourism Development unit 6, and Mr. Ntando Maseko Online Radio show host (Mind Your Business) LP Coach and Master trainer (Self Mastery) Business Coach. The speakers discussed a range of subjects, including, recovery from Covid 19 setback, rebuilding the tourism and hospitality sector making the tourism and hospitality sector sustainable and resilient, and how technology can be applied to support the recovery, build sustainability, and make the sector resilient.A tourism tour of the Amajuba region will be included in tomorrow's seminar.
