The Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs Youth Economic Empowerment Unit, in partnership with Furntech in Kwamashu, the South African Furniture Initiative (SAFI), and CIPC, hosted an information session to workshop the youth in Kwamashu who are interested in entering this industry. The workshop covered how to start a business as a SMME or Cooperative, skills development opportunities, and business development support available for the young people in Kwamashu.
