UMZUMBE SCHOOLS RECEIVE UNIFORMS
Leader of Government Business and MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal Mr. Siboniso Duma led a delegation EDTEA & SASSA officials in ward 19 of Umzumbe Local Municipality to hand over uniforms to pupils in schools.
The site visits included Bonginduna Primary School, BonguCele Primary School, uMnafu Primary, Mandlendoda Primary and concluded at Luthuli High School.
During his keynote address the MEC quoted struggle stalwart and former President Mr. Nelson Mandela citing “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” encouraging all learners the MEC, reiterated the importance of these to echo in their ears.
