UMNYANGO WAKWA EDTEA UGUBHA USUKU LOKUGQUGQUZELA KOKUTSHALWA KWEZIHLAHLA KANYE NOKULWISWANA NEZIMILA ZOKUFIKA
The Department for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs as led by MEC Mr. Siboniso Duma is today deployed in the KwaNqumuza area for the hosting of the arbor and weedbuster commemoration engagement.
The purpose of this commemorative event is to encourage tree planting and fight against alien invasive species.
In his welcoming remarks Inkosi Mdluli conveyed a message of appreciation to the MEC for allowing departmental officials to educate members of the KwaNqumuza area of various environmental issues.
Attendees of this event included the keynote speaker Mayor of Mkhambathini Local Municipality Cllr N. Ntombela, Deputy Mayor Cllr N. Maphanga and Speaker T. Gwala.
