The broad objectives of the programme are: share information that would effectively empower educators who teach tourism and hospitality subjects at the high school level; Updating educators on industry developments, as tourism and hospitality are dynamic subjects; Attempting to bridge the knowledge gap of educators who teach tourism and hospitality without any formal education and training; and Share updates on the NTCE 2023/24.

The workshop is implemented in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, the KZN Department of Education, and South Coast Tourism Investment and Enterprise.
