KWAZULU-NATAL GOVERNMENT EMBARKS ON AN OVERSIGHT AND MONITORING OF NATIONAL SCHOOL NUTRITION PROGRAMME
MEC for Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs and OSS DDM Champion MEC responsible for the UMgungundlovu District Mr. Siboniso Duma has heeded the call for an oversight and monitoring evaluation visit for the National Schools Nutrition Programme for schools in the district.
As the Champion MEC, accompanied by the Champion HoD Ms. Carol Coetzee, the MEC paid a visit to a number of schools benefiting from the programme.
Some of the schools visited include Henryville Primary School, Mthethomusha Primary and Sukuma Comprehensive High School where the MEC received a comprehensive report on the status of schools in the district.
