CIPC presented on copyright and related intellectual property rights for creatives in the music and film industries.

A seasoned actor, Jack Devnarain, the Chairperson of the SA Guild of Actors, addressed the youth, and in his speech, he highlighted the plights of actors in South Africa, the wealth of talent, and gaps in the industry that require stakeholders in the sector to come together to change the status quo in various categories like contract writing and more in order for them not to be exploited in the process of rendering their services through their talents.
