INDIGENOUS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION EXCURSION

eThekwini Environmental Empowerment Services, under the Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs, took educators to the Isithumba Adventure Tourism valley of a Thousand Hills.

This was to encourage these educators to teach indigenous knowledge systems,to teach them the role that natural resources play in African culture, and to explain why it's important to conserve natural resources.

This tour gave these educators the best experience of village life, infused with exciting activities in the beautiful outdoor environment
