HARRY GWALA DISTRICT - OPERATION SUKUMA SAKHE CABINET DAY

Uhulumeni uya kubantu - the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Cabinet as led by the Premier is today deployed in various parts of the Harry Gwala District Municipality to engage community members on critical issues.

The MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs was deployed in the Clydsdale area.

Kicking off the day’s activities the MEC conducted an Operation Siyahlola activity where he received a briefing on the on the status of the Multipurpose Sports Centre.

 The MEC led delegation, then conducted an oversight visit at the Greater Summer Field Water Treatment Plant for a second phase oversight visit.

 The oversight visits were then concluded by a visit to an Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD) situated in ward 17.

The day’s activities were concluded by a community engagement where the MEC delivered a keynote speech.
