The purpose of this workshop was to teach educators on how to integrate Education for Sustainable Development into formal and non-formal education structures, to promote learning for sustainable development in formal and non-formal education structures, to maximize and sustain partnership with Stakeholders in ESD (like eThekwini Durban Solid Waste Education and Awareness, uMngeni uThukela Water, eThekwini Water and Sanitation), to enhance the positive attitude towards sustainable environmental management and to acknowledge the efforts of formal and non-formal education structures as well as other Stakeholders in raising environmental awareness.
