COMMEMORATION OF NATIONAL ARBOR WEEK

The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, together with EThekwini Municipality visited  Buhlebemfundo Secondary School in KwaDabeka to commemorate National Arbor Week. 

The main purpose of this program is to celebrate South Africa's trees as well as to raise awareness about the importance of trees.

Learners were engaged by Public Speakers that address environmental issues such as climate change,pollution and poverty .Amongst other speakers present are the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Forestry,Fisheries and Environmental Affairs, Department of Water and Sanitation, Umngeni uThukela, WESSA, eThekwini Municipality,Impact Recycling UKZN,INLET,Glass Recycling .
