2023 WORLD FOOD DAY
The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs programme 07: Environmental Empowerment Services partnered with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, King Cetshwayo District Municipality, Umfolozi Local Municipality, Mondi, Siyaqhubeka Forestry, IthubaAgribusiness,Richards Bay IDZ, Richards Bay Minerals to celebrate the 2023 World Food Day under the theme "Water is Life Water is Food. Leave no one behind" at Nhlabane Primary School under uMfolozi Local Municipality.
World Food day is celebrated every year around the world on the 16th of October. The World food day aims to promote worldwide awareness of equal access to food and water, to promote sustainable agricultural practices, and to highlight the need for a healthy diet.
