“Hosting Forbes Woman African Leading Women Summit is an affirmation of our ability to host international events. In particular, the KZN government through our department – EDTEA – is spearheading initiatives aimed at ensuring women empowerment; We want to use the summit to highlight progress and challenges faced by women. I have always held the view that the economic well-being of a society cannot be achieved if women are massively underprivileged, particularly in the employment sector, compared to their male counterparts.t” said the MEC Dube-Ncube during the Summit.
