KZN Acting Premier and EDTEA MEC Dube-Ncube declares war against gender-based violence, 25 November 2019

As part of the launch of this year’s 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, KwaZulu-Natal Acting Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube on the 25 November 2019, declared war against spiralling incidents of Gender-based Violence in Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality (Estcourt) in uThukela District.

 

It was a busy day for the Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs MEC as she started the day’s activities by also launching the Department’s Spend Wisely Awareness Campaign ahead of Black Friday SHOPPING frenzy at Gourton Shops. Apart from that the MEC also closed number of shops selling expired products trading illegally, and taverns who are operating without licences.
