MEC Dube-Ncube officially launched Operation Khawuleza in Uthukela District as the MEC champion for that District A, 22 October 2019

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Nomusa Dube-Ncube on Tuesday 22 October 2019 expanded the accelerated efforts by the provincial government to expedite service delivery in municipalities by handing over the yellow metal plant machines to the uThukela District Municipality.

 

The district-wide roll-out of construction vehicles is set to transform a number of municipalities who in the past had been battling to swiftly attend to service delivery challenges. The machines include TLBs, rollers, water tankers, tipper trucks, graders, waste trucks and honey suckers, apart from the launch of Operation Khawuleza the MEC for EDTEA devoted the entire for uThukela District Municipality where she participated in the Joint EXCO meeting of that District and conducted a roadblock as we celebrate transport month.
