MEC for Economic Development, Tourism Economic Development: Ms Nomusa Dube-Ncube. On the 3rd October 2019 she graced the unveiling of two helicopters worth R250 million that were bought by Transnet. The event took place at the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone’s Techno-Park. RBIDZ is an entity led by the MEC and she has reiterated the commitment to ensure that the MOU signed between Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone, Transnet and uMlathuze Local Municipality is used to drive socio-economic development.
